Brewed with freshly picked Waimea hop cones straight off the vine, our Fresh Hop Foggy IPA captures the raw spirit of Nelson’s hop harvest. Waimea has long been one of our favourite and most used hops at Mount Brewing, but this year it finally takes centre stage in our annual Fresh Hop release.
A bold New Zealand cultivar bred by Plant & Food Research, Waimea is known for its punchy citrus, tangelo and pine character. Our hops come from Mac Hops, a fifth-generation family farm in Motueka dedicated to growing premium hops with care and innovation.
Foggy and hop-forward, this IPA is intensely aromatic and refreshingly juicy, with a full-bodied swell of citrus and pine that rolls across the palate and finishes clean. Enjoy it fresh, because like a solid day at Waimea, it won’t last forever.
