Once a year there is a special moment in our brewery - Brewing a fresh hop beer!
This year we teamed up with our friends from Freestyle Hops where the legendary team picked up Motueka and Riwaka hops straight off the vines first thing in the morning and dropped them off at the Nelson Airport and flew them straight to us. All the fresh hops then were added to the wort within a few hours of picking.
On top of that, the same hops, from exactly the same block were quickly palletised and then added for massive dry hop addition for extra bright aroma and of course freshness.
We are sure you can't get anything fresher than that.
From Motueka you can expect a mix of bright, citrus and sweet fruit characters while Riwaka delivers notes of exotic tropical intensity.
Our Fresh Hop Hazy IPA won't leave you disappointed, but make sure
to drink it fresh!
