Next up in our monthly IPA Series is the August Double Foggy IPA. Clocking in at 8% ABV, it's big on strength and even bigger on flavour. This bold brew is crafted with a trio of expressive hops - experimental HBC 638, the ever-reliable Citra, and the aromatic Nelson Sauvin - delivering lush aromas and flavours of overripe mango, juicy passionfruit, and fresh lychee, layered with citrus zest, white grape, and subtle gooseberry notes.
Built on a malt base of Maris Otter, flaked oats, flaked wheat, and flaked rice, this combination creates a smooth, silky body with a delicate haze and a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that lets the bright, juicy hops take centre stage. The intense tropical fruit and citrus flavours make this Double Foggy IPA bold yet approachable - perfect for hop lovers seeking complexity without harshness.

Brewed for the West Coast IPA Challenge at The Malthouse in Wellington and the latest instalment in our ongoing IPA Series.
Clocking in at 7.2% it showcases Simoe, Citra and Centennial hops - delivering bold notes of citrus, pine and a hint of tropical fruit. A clean, lean malt backbone keeps the spotlight on the hops, while a punchy, dry finish and assertive bitterness bring it all home.
