Session 1 is Belgian Wild Sour Ales and Session 2 is classic Belgian Beer Styles (no sours).
Enjoy one or both sessions.
This is a must-attend event for all beer enthusiasts and those curious about the world of Belgian beer.
A very special tasting for lovers of wild and sour ales. Belgium produces some of the best wild fermented ales in the world. The home of Gueuze and fruited Lambics with traditions that date back centuries.
You will get to enjoy some very limited releases from the Lambic masters 3 Fonteinen that they sent to NZ specially for a series of cellar tastings. A very rare treat and much easier than getting on a plane to Brussels. You will be the first in NZ to enjoy 3 Fonteinen Perzik Rood, a lambic with red plums. We will also taste an exceptional Gueuze from Tilquin, and a Vintage release from Rodenbach - the brewery that defined one of the great sour ales styles - Flanders Red.
3 Fonteinen Turverbol, Tilquin Gueuze, 3 Fonteinen Golden Doesjel, 3 Fonteinen
Intens Rood, 3 Fonteinen Perzik Rood, and Rodenbach Vintage 2018.
